Soft Furnishings

Hi,I wonder would anyone beable to help me with this.We  are furnishing our house at the moment,we have decided to try to buy as many Italian goods as possible(supporting the ecomomy and all that)I have been unable to find really good quality Egypyian cotton  bed linen any where in Florence.Does one have to go to Roma or Milano for this?I also want to buy a really nice plain white fine china dinner service.Most of what I have seen has been in rather garish patterns.Any tips from the Italia experts out there?           /
