Altomonte is a charming village in the province of Cosenza. The village contains numerous monuments: the castle of Norman origin (XII century), expanded and restored by its various landowners throughout time, Piazza Tommaso Campanella, with the Church of the Madonna della Consolazione and its adjoining Dominican Monastery, that now houses the Civic Museum. Altomonte, with over 300 ceremonies a year, is defined as the hamlet of weddings, as weddings from all over Italy and abroad decide to celebrate here the happy event for the beauty of these places.
