Barumini (Sardinia)

Barumini is a comune (municipality) in the Province of South Sardinia, in the Italian region of Sardinia. It is home to Su Nuraxi di Barumini, a Nuraghe complex listed in the UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Su Nuraxi is a settlement consisting of a seventeenth century BCE Nuraghe, a bastion of four corner towers plus a central one, and a village inhabited from the thirteenth to the sixth century BCE, developed around the Nuraghe. The cultural centre located a short distance from the nuraghe was named after 'the father' of Sardinian archaeologists and events, concerts, and archaeological and crafts exhibitions (permanent and temporary) take place here, in this incomparable setting.

Our recipe of the week is made with "fregula", similar to couscous but with a more toothsome bite. This grain is typical to Sardinia and best serves with a delicious clam sauce.

Flights from Rome to Sardinia

Does anyone know if RyanAir is the only airline that flies from Rome to Sardinia, direct.

Hi, I am starting the process of building a simple minimalist studio space in Sardegna (no interiors walls, no bathroom and just a small kitchen) and I am looking for a good and trustworthy Geometra. I was wondering if anyone here had a good experience and could recommend one.
