how often do buses run from Rome to

The only company I knew that did that was Prontobus here , but their timetable no longer shows Penne. Looking at google maps and rome2Rio they don't show a direct solution either. Best bet might be to get to Pescara and either get a local bus or a taxi. Local buses would be either Gestione Trasporti Metropolitani or Arpa here I believe. Google maps will likely give you a solution from Pescara to Penne but I suspect a taxi might be your best bet. The airport site has a 2013 price list from there to Penne as €25, I suspect thatmay be a little more near €35-40 these days..
