How to create content? Saying something...
The ITALY Community is structured around the idea of a central piazza, where everyone meets up, and groups which are like the bars and cafes and circoli of an Italian town. You can either say something to everyone or you can simply say it within a group. Typically, things said within a group are not public to non-members of the group (unless one explicitly requests that the content is made public). Now, if you want to "say something" to everyone you just click on the green "Create Content" button on the horizontal menu bar. You then need to choose the type of "thing" you want to say. Currently we have:
- A post - just a general comment/statement/question about anything you want, create a post.
- A photo gallery - if you want to upload photos then create a photo gallery.
- A restaurant review - if you want to provide your opinion about a restaurant in Italy create a restaurant review.
All content can be categorised under topics and location (if applicable) and tags can be added. Tags represent topic headings that you believe are appropriate but are not available from the pre-set list of topics. If you just want to say something just within a group make sure you are a member of the group, click on the group from under the "My Groups" menu. Once you are in the Group Page you will be able to create content by click on the "Create
