Every December 8 in Italy, the Feast of the Immaculate Conception (Festa dell’Immacolata) celebrates the Catholic religion's belief in the “Immaculate Conception” of the Virgin Mary.

But December 8, a national holiday in Italy, also marks the day when many Italians put up the Christmas tree and holiday decorations around the house.
