We are driving down to Puglia to arrive by Easter and want to stop off to see Venice. We have just lost our dog and thought we would make the most of the journey as I don't think it will be long before we get another.

I seem to remember we paid 3000 euros for an Imhoff. This was part of a much larger building project rather than a one-off.We have four double bedroomed property with plenty of land so no problem with drain off.
Word of warning - Gotthard Pass was closed both ways on our last trip (out on 16 May return on 25 May). Assumed still too much snow. However, we had no delays in the tunnel.
Can I join your group too Alma? I'm in the same position as you.I can't even record a programme any more, let alone programme any of the machines we have got. I am lucky these days if I can even get the TV switched on to the channel I want. I was only saying the other day that when VHS first came in everything was so simple, I simply pressed record and I could wind the tapes back and forward - technology has got far too clever and I have got far older!

Thanks Valentina. Just knowing that Save actually means Send or Reply makes things a lot clearer.
