Our NOT very old beams and wood-lined roof have little holes in them and wood dust seen below on the floor. The wood is rovere and the woodworm seem to be only, so far, in the lighter bits of wood.
We've just joined and wondered if anyone needs a caravan for use while building, or as a useful spare room? It is sitting in the field behind our house in Lunigiana but needs a new home now.

HI Chris, It was bought near Lugano, Switzerland with no documents, targa or registration. We didn't know anything about those things just towed the caravan to our place without any problems. It still has our UK car reg plate on it which would have to be changed I suppose. It really needs to make one journey not too far and stay put. The tow hook is a cup shaped thing that drops down on the towbar and is clamped shut, as I remember. I don't know how an italian tow hook would differ. Thanks for your interest Apicoltrice
