It's Mother's Day in Italy this Sunday and we would like to take this occasion to say thanks to all the "mamme" who follow us.
There is no question about the fact that "Italian Mammas" have made a name for themselves; pivot of the family, always putting their kids first, managing to balance work and family in a country with little support for working mothers... but also spoiling their children until they are over 50 years old, always ready to interfere in their lives, stuffing them with food, etc.
Whichever stereotype of the 'typical Italian mamma' you have come across, what matters is that they always mean well and deserve your full support. So, regardless of whether your mom is Italian or not, or whether you celebrate Mother's Day in your country this week, make sure to take some time for your mamma and tell her a simple but meaningful: GRAZIE! |
