I think that anyone that you come in touch with regards local arrangements for chicken speak will most certainly be a local dialect user, so almost certainly your best bet for some words etc will be the local bar, or hanging out near the Consorzio Agricola. If you come along to the BBQ on Sunday, we'll all try to assist you in networking and therefore finding some answers. My neighbours have chickens, but the italian for "cluck cluck" and "Here chicky chicky" is difficult to understand. You could try;"Pol pol pol pol pollo, fa una picola uova per me..."
Well, spending time getting

If they come along to the BBQ we can introduce them to lots of chickens! They could even buy a set to try and put back together, or simply just enjoy them bbq-ed at a price!!! Don't know where we'll get the feathers from however.... Would be an eggsaparating eggsperience, but I suppose best not to eggsagarate. Eggsactly. Only yolking! I generally go to eggstremes about these things. Must be my natural eggsuberance. Just hope I'm not too eggotistic. Shell crack on now.
