Hello and Welcome, that is the reason why we set up the "Piazza". We want to create a great ITALY Community, that even if virtual, can give much more to the members who are part of it and who really wish to share opinions about Italy as a place to visit or where to live or even just dream of.Please, use this new tool provided by Italy Magazine, also to ask for advice or give any, because, as Italians say: "Non si finisce mai di imparare"! - there is always something new to learn!
Well I too am really looking

Well I too am really looking forward to the new approach we will find here. You can't imagine how I'm looking forward to sitting on the wall in the piazza, or going to the bar for an aperitivo and just chatting to anyone and everyone who has the same love of Italy that I have!(just checking if the HTML tags work - they do!)

I am also really excited about the fresh new start. As for piazza's would suggest we all have a virtual get together on the marble of the Piazza del Popolo, Ascoli Piceno for me one of the most beautiful in Italy. If anyone knows of any other great piazzas, please let me know.http://www.flickr.com/photos/stensonweb/2772789624/

Piazza della Signoria , Piazza della Repubblica, Piazza della SS Annunziata all in Florence. Piazza Napoleone and Piazza Anfiteatro in Lucca, Piazza dei Miracoli and Piazza dei Cavalieri in Pisa, Piazza del Campo and Piazza del Duomo in Siena, Piazza Maggiore and Piazza del Nettuno in Bologna, Piazza San Marco in Venice.... There are so many that it is difficult to choose your favourite one.

Have to agree with all of the above and Piazza Cavalieri looks SO much better now all the scaffolding has gone. Looking forward at some stage to be able to see the Piazza Emmanuelle - in the 30 months we have lived here it has been covered as they are building an underground car park....
