I cooked Octopus only yesterday - it was fresh, delicious, tender, very bloody expensive - and Spanish!

Flips opinion about Spanish food not being a patch on Italian is not worthy of an answer and yet Spuds  pisstaking post asking "what does spaghetti taste like" is? Bear in mind that Spud - who is really Sprat incognito - lived in Italy for three or more years and ate spaghetti numerous times - so, unless she has (hopefully) had her tongue ripped out, she knows exactly what spaghetti tastes like!

I never said you had made any reference to a connection Flip - don't worry, you haven't hit anything.

It's not important if I think the decor is fine or a tad busy or not Flip - it's not my house - I don't live there and I'm not thinking of purchasing this house - or any other - at this time.  However, if I wanted to move to Crosby and this house was the type of house I was interested in,  I would not let any decor or furnishing style put me off.  I would pay great attention to the size, location, condition and price of the property only and so, as this house appears to be large, located in a very good area of Crosby, in an excellent, well maintained, clean  and obviously loved condition and also very well priced, I, unlike Pilch, (who posted this only to take the piss and a sly sideswipe at Scousers and Neapolitans), would seriously consider buying this house over - lets say for example - Pilch's little wooden hut or soggy cardboard box.

Sorry Flip, but why is the owner devoid of taste or class?  They have furnished their home in a way that obviously pleases and suits them - which in my opinion is far better than following the flock in uniformity and so called fashion.

I guarantee Scousers and Neapolitans would never dream of attaining the standards of your home Pilch! For example, have you noticed how spotlessly clean this Crosby home you are advertising is? Yet another epic fail Pilch. wink

Bella, take no notice of Sneerylice - he has "issues" and probably believes you are me and I am his nemesis - he is only correct about one of those things.  wink Allan Mason, on the other hand, always writes with complete honesty and gives a very balanced viewpoint.  I know whose postings I would take notice of.

"Living next door to a moron is not nice so it might be an amusing idea to take up the offer in the post above." Pilch, you're absolutely right - its not nice to live next door to a moron - and that's why I've no intentions of moving next door to you!  Jane, If I were to take you seriously about your offer to sell your home - I'd have to refuse due to location. I'm sure you know exactly what you're dealing with in the Castel Volturno area - not an easy place - lots of problems, but I'd seriously get a local (not so) nice person to pin your neighbour up against a wall and tell him to vaff.... While the neighbour gets pinned up - make sure you're outta town - somewhere very public and where  others can vouch for you.  San Lazzaro is a great location - do visit. Can I ask why you choose this location to purchase and live in?

"Anybody want a house in Campania..............?!" Yes! I swear I kinda knew your house was somewhere in Campania - 'tis the only place that fits perfectly the type of mentality you speak of.  You've just gotta know how to handle those Napulitani - but it does depend exactly where in Campania it is - Provincia di Avellino is my guess from what you've said so far. Tell me where your house is - or at least narrow it down to the nearest town for me and I may be able to tell you how to handle your neighbourly problem - if you don't want to deal with it, then I  might buy your house - 'cus I'd have no qualms about telling your neighbour where to go - and perhaps even showing him and his wife exactly how to get there!
