Early winter landscape in the Dolomites

Unusually large quantities of fresh snow have fallen in the Italian Alps during the first week of December. In a different trend from the past years, when snow was late to arrive, this year up to three meters of snow have fallen in the Dolomites and parts of Trentino-Alto Adige, Friuli, Valle d’Aosta.

Here are some photos for you to virtually enjoy a snowy winter in Italy!
