I find it fascinating that after more than 2000 years from its construction, the Flavian Amphitheatre, aka Colosseum, continues to hit the headlines.
We have written so much about it, lately. We started with the USA President visit in late March, then talked about the current restoration work revealing its original colours, reported that it was the most visited site in Italy with a total of 5,625,219 visitors in 2013 and we are preparing an article about the traditional Stations of the Cross procession with Pope Francis for next week. I'm sure we will continue to find interesting news and stories to share with you about this incredible Roman monument, because everyone seems to agree that the Colosseum rocks!
