Buongiorno Italy readers!

We've officially arrived at my favorite season in Italy, beautiful Autumn with all of its changing color and vibrant flavors. Let's catch up on what you might have missed this past week.

The highest Tibetan bridge in Europe was inaugurated last weekend in Valtellina, a beautiful Alpine area of Lombardy in northern Italy.

Made up of tiny, leavened buns filled with ham and provola cheese, the Danubio napoletano is often served as a part of a pre-dinner aperitivo or as a snack for children. An addiction for all ages.

Stylish and something you will own forever. This Carrara marble cutting board with handle is ideal as a gift for those who love to cook or for those who appreciate Italian craftsmanship

Sitting on the ground in Venice could become illegal if the latest proposal meant to curb the effects of over tourism is approved by the city council in October, we have the scoop

Meet Massimo, founder of Abruzzo Cibus offering 7-day all-inclusive tour experiences in his native Abruzzo, and discover how and why he left a thriving career in the U.S.A. in order to return to the tiny village of Carunchio.

Foliage season in Italy’s South Tyrol is synonym with the beloved tradition of Törggelen, a rite that goes back a long time. Don't forget that you can also read this article in Italian, part of our weekly dual-language Italian-English series, enjoy!

Our newest artisanal item of the week is this ball lamp, partially decorated with painted craquelè in an Islamic style with shades of sky blue and turquoise blue-- the other parts made with terracotta made by an artisan based in Lazio.

Trulli amazing! You'll definitely want to check out this property for sale in Puglia, located in Martina Franca a few km from the Torre Canne beach area and the Brindisi airport.

Wishing you all a wonderful weekend from Georgette, your editor, and the Italy Magazine team.
