Sardinian / English family

Hi, Me and my husband moved to Sardinia last year, he is from Sassari and I am from the north of England, we have a 3 month old baby boy who born in Alghero. At the moment we are restoring an old farm house deep in the countryside between Sassari and Tempio which we hope to eventually turn into a B&B. I'd love to hear from any english speaking people in the north of the Island especially those with children as I'm getting a bit lonely!

Hi Sardochar My wife is from Sorgono ( a fair bit south of where you are in the province of Nuoro). We got married in Sardinia 6 years ago and I've spent the last 8 or 9 years spending much of the summer and every Christmas there. I love the place but can imagine it can get a bit lonely. Do you speak Italian? (learning Sardinian is quite the task...!) It'd be lovely to have a chat, or even meet up, at some point. Sardinians are a very particular lot and the social mores can take a bit of learning! How are you finding it? Russ
