Land clearance of apple orchard for re-planting

We have an orchard of about 360 mature apple trees which needs to be cleared for replanting. We understand that the process is as follows:--cut the branches and burn-cut the trunk and sell or keep for fuel-excavate the root stock to 1metre deep-level for replanting The problem is the cost we have been given of €200-250 per tree. That seems to be excessive. Anyone with any cost information on this?Thanks
