Ciao - New Member between Glasgow and Garfagnana

Hi, just thought i'd drop by and say hello to you all. I've been visiting Garfagnana for a number of years now and in the last few have been looking for a small place to buy. I finally completed on house in Mozzanella near Castiglione di Garfagnana recently to use primaily as a holiday. Have a bit of restoration to do, and i'll probably be asking the common questions about heating and hot water etc. Will be visiting the house as much as possible, particularly this year with the restoration ongoing.  

Hello and welcome! The Garfagnana area is beautiful. We are in Bagni di Lucca, although we do not live permanently there. Best wishes regarding your renovations. Generally, it is a lot of work, but a very rewarding one.

We are also from the Garfagnana area, between Piazza al Serchio and Sillano.  Although not resident, we spend about six months of the year here.  I'm sure you will find lots of answers to your questions here - I certainly have.
