Since utility bills are such a popular subject, I thought it may be useful to transcribe some information from my last ENEL bill for anyone trying to figure out just how & why they're being charged what they are for their electricity. There are a couple of things I don't understand but perhaps if people can put up some examples of their tariffs, it may help to dispel a few myths.BILLING HOURSF1: 8am - 7pm Monday - FridayF2: 7am - 8am & 7pm - 11pm Monday - Friday & 7am - 11pm SaturdayF3: Midnight - 7am & 11pm - Midnight Monday - Saturday and all day Sunday. Also 1st, 6th January, Lunedi dell'Angelo?, 25th April, 1st May, 2nd June, 15th August, 1st November, 8th, 25th & 26th December.F2 & F3: are calculated at one value on our tariff as F23.NB. The meter displays these readings as A1, A2, A3TARIFF: DOMESTIC RESIDENT D2 BIORARIA TRANSITORIA 3kW.Fixed Rate Per Month €2,50Discount Per Month (Supply Rate refunded?) €-1,78TOTAL €0,72F1: €0,088980 /kWhF23: €0,078920 /kWhSupply Prices:Fixed Rate Per Month €0,50Monthly Amount Per kW €0,42. Therefore 3kW = €1,28TOTAL €1,78All plus IVA (10% - is this 12% now?)There are some really tiny amounts also applied to the bills but in our case they never amount to more than a few cents so I've not even gone there!

Whilst I cannot help with the queries that you have, it's very good of you to translate this info. I have been aware of the timings and costings for a few years but shamefully had not thought that anyone would be interested to know that (in the summer time), it is better to have most of your pool pump, dishwasher etc working through the night time (if possible) as it is a cheaper tariff. Well done, a lot of people will make use of this info, S
