I live in England and have a holiday home in the Val di Vara, on the Liguria/Tuscany border. My italian neighbour there needs to sell another house she owns in the village, following the death of her husband. It is semi detached with living room, kitchen. 2 bedrooms, bathroom, good sized landing, windowless storeroom and terrace with magnificent view. There is also the possibility of a cantina and separate bit of garden. The house is in immaculate condition and fully furnished (Italian style). She has been using it for family visitors from France, but they are now getting too old to travel. She has had it valued at 90,000 euro by her geometra but says the price is open to negotiation. As her family do not speak English she has asked me to try and help find an English buyer. The family have put it on Italian EBAY. It is in a lovely tranquil hamlet but only one mile from a bigger village with amenities and half an hour from La Spezia and 45 mins on quiet roads from the Cinque Terre panoramic road above Monterosso. If anyone is interested and would like more details please send me a private message. I can put you in touch with my neighbours family but communication with them would have to be in Italian. We adore the area ourselves. English buyers have tended to stop at the Tuscany side of the border but are starting to trickle over onto the Ligurian side in the last 2 years.
