HiI'm going to a concert at San Siro in July and am having trouble working out how to get there from Milan (using public transport) as everything I look at tells me something different from the last thing I looked at! So far it seems that the nearest metro station is Lotto but one site says you need to get a bus from there are the other says you can walk. There is a tram which used to stop outside the stadium but now only goes as far as Piazzale Segesta. Any help would be most appreciated

Only been the once and that was some time back, but seem to recall getting off at Lotto and everyone piled on to shuttle buses going to the ground. We went early september and it was a very sunny day, we walked up the main chestnut lined street to the ground and took in the atmosphere .... It was wonderful... Can't recall how long it took to walk, but seem to recall it was at least a couple of kilometres. Was not too impressed with the ground inside, but it was an experience I would not have missed.  Enjoy it...

i used to live in milano and go to the stadium for football and concerts.BTW the stadium is IN Milano. i would advise to take the metro to Lotto and do the 5-8 minute walk to the stadium, there may well be a shuttle bus now but with all those people and waiting for the next one you'd be better off walking it.actually it's quite pleasant as it's an up market residential area close to the stadium not a slum or anything...whats the concert?
