Here's the list of Italian guaranteed trains Public transport, buses 8 hours as per city. Rome and Naples 9-5pm Turin 9-noon and 3-6pm, Palermo 8:30-5:30pm. Florence 4pm, Milan 6pm and Bologna 7:30pm till the end of service.Ships/Ferries 8 hour delay of departures.A taxi might be hard to come by. Expect parades, making traffic in cities difficult. Leave for airports early. Rome has two, 9-12 Piazza dei Cinquecento Via de San Gregorio and 10-2pm Via dei Fori Imperiali, Via Corrado Ricci Height then on Piazza Navona. Trucks joining in 24hours. BUT most important car rental will be closed. Might want to drop off earlier than planned.
