il sorger del sole constructed with two-metre-thick golden sandstone walls during the late 1600’s early 1700’s in the former hamlet of St. Georges’ Hill. The farmhouse with exposed stonework has original hand made oak doors, hand hewed oak beams, ceiling tiles etcetera. It has an insulated roof, PVC double glazed windows and external doors. The spacious accommodation some 230m² comprises: ground floor with two guest rooms with independent entrances, private bathrooms and an additional ‘cantina’ which could be converted into a further en-suite bedroom, under stair storage room, bread oven which could be re-used and single garage. Ancient stone steps with loggia lead to the first floor with lounge, bedroom with en-suite bathroom/utility room and a large open plan kitchen/dining area.
