A Slice of Heaven: Budelli Island in the Maddalena Archipelago of Sardinia
Budelli is an unspoiled island of 1.6 square kilometers, part of La Maddalena National Park. It is considered one of the most beautiful islands in the Mediterranean and is one of four uninhabited islands of the Maddalena. It is especially renowned for its Spiaggia Rosa ("Pink Beach"). Construction is banned on the island and access is only permitted alongside a member of staff from the park's authority.
