I don't post here often but I do keep up. I didn't have any problem with the views expressed by the poster who cannot be named. He was repetitive, since people kept disa greeing with him. His views were perfectly valid. Maybe he was too repetitive for some, but then so are some others, aren't they Gala?
I have seen the bottles in Italy, but have no idea if it works. 2 litre clear plastic bottles, filled with water, among the plants. Shouldn't cost much to try.
In point of fact, Building Regulations in England and Wales require safety glass in all doors (except for very small panels) and also in adjacent fixed panels. This also effects glazing below waist level. This also applies to double glazing in, which is almost mandatory because of other Building Regulations on the subject of energy efficiency. Apparently not in Italy. 8O) Neil
Banning cruise ships from the lagoon cannot come soon enough for me. Their size is obscenely out of scale for the city and its surroundings. The ignorant tourists they debouch clutter up the sites. they bring nothing to the city. They follow their leader, ignoring you, bumping into you, at least they are all now wired for sound so the guides don't disturb the peace. When they depart to take their gross meals, the city breathes a sigh of relief. Sorry for the rant, it just touches a nerve.
Two old guys, one 80 and one 87, were sitting on their usual park bench one morning. The 87 year old had just finished his morning jog and wasn't even short of breath. The 80 year old was amazed at his friend's stamina and asked him what he did to have so much energy. The 87 year old said, "well I eat Italian bread every day. It keeps your energy level high and you'll have great stamina with the ladies." So, on the way home, the 80 year old stops at the bakery. As he was looking around, the lady asked if he needed any help. He said, "Do you have any Italian bread?" He said, "Yes, there's a whole shelf of it, would you like some?" He said, "I want 5 loaves." She said , "My goodness, 5 loaves...it'll get hard." He replied, "Does everybody in the world know about this Italian bread but ME"?
Without wishing to rain on your parade - I'm truly very sympathetic - please be very careful. Some years ago, a family started a similar request for their son, for business cards. It turned into a round robin campaign, and very quickly became a nightmare for them. It then morphed into a birthday card request, and the nightmare became worse, and the post office stepped in to intercept the mountains of mail, all this before the days of universal email, and Facebook etc. If it continues, try to keep it to your own contacts, because it could spiral. That said, best wishes to you and the boy.

unintended repeat.
Sorry Gala, did that hurt? Maybe it's too close to the truth.

I seem to be able to see everyone's profile page except Bella Caroline. Why is this?
