Days are getting shorter and temperatures are getting chillier so it is the perfect time to catch up on some exciting TV shows. Here are five Italian TV series, some premiering this fall, others from past seasons, to transport you to Italy.

On display at the Florence’s Opera Museum, the Bandini Pietà by Michelangelo has just undergone a major restoration which has removed dust, plaster and wax accumulated on the surface that altered its exceptional plasticity, three-dimensionality and color.

The pendant is entirely handmade by goldsmith Lucio de Luca from a design by Rossella Farina in the laboratory Yantra in Montemerano, an iconic piece made with love.

Now that opera and theater has returned, save this useful vocabulary lesson for the perfect night at the teatro (at the theatre) in Italy.

For sale in Le Marche. Just one km from the old Town of Rapagnano, in Fermo province, is this elegant renovated farmhouse featuring a large garden and beautiful olive grove. A sublime property in one of Italy’s most authentic regions.

Wishing you all a wonderful weekend from Georgette, your editor, and the Italy Magazine team.
