Can anyone give me a ball park figure for installing a 4 x 8 metre salt water pool please. Moving to Liguria in November and would love a pool but we don't know if we can afford it as we haven't a clue of costs. Could be anything between 20,000 & 200,000 Euros for all we know! Hope its not the latter!!!!
Me and my partner are in the process of applying for Italian residency (in Le Marche region, province of Fermo). So far so good but we have received a letter from the Comune requesting proof of comprehensive health insurance for the period of a year as a condition to residency being granted.
Of course we are aware of the old argument re reciprocal (or lack of!) EU laws on providing health care for citizens of member states (and I have flagged this to my local MEP back home), but since Rome wasn’t built in a day, I suspect we will have to succumb & cough up!
This is the porch I saw that I liked the look of!
Unfortunately not a great photo.
Try again!
We have a hideous canopy porch (green corrugated plastic) over the front door of our village house and would like to replace it with something more stylish. I've seen a lovely one in a neighbouring village - If I knew how to attach a photo I would! We've seen one in Brico but it was made of plastic, we'd prefer something a bit more substantial.
Any ideas or info gratefully received.
Thanks
Jan
I am a UK citizen and resident but I spend a lot of time in Italy. I am being offered a small amount of paid work in Italy. The money will not be very much - probably less than £1000 (in the year) to start with. What is the situation re my legal status (am I allowed to work?) and taxation? I do not wish to evade tax and I want to be legal. I will continue to earn money and pay tax in the UK as well. What is the procedure by which I can become a legal worker in Italy? All advice and information welcomed.
