For the third year in a row, Ferrari has been picked as the ideal place to work by graduating students from Italy's top universities. A survey of future graduates carried out by Sweden's prestigious Universum Communications consulting and research firm put Ferrari ahead of Microsoft, IBM, Nokiam Intel, BMW, Sony, Cisco Systems, ENI and Porsche as the first choice among science and engineering students.

Ferrari was second, behind Armani, among economic and business majors who also listed Procter & Gamble, Barilla, Banca Intesa, the European Central Bank and Coca Cola as ideal future employers. The Italian sportscar maker and race team came out on top for offering stimulating positions, international career opportunities, open dialogue between employer and staff and its pay scale.

According to Universum Communications, the fact that engineering students picked Ferrari as their first choice was not surprising because "they are interested in innovative solutions". Also playing in Ferrari's favor among students was its positive reputation for labor relations, its so-called
'Formula Man' policy which focuses on the needs of the employee.
