Issue 38

"(...)It’s total bliss now as summer has arrived at last in Italy, bringing with it azure skies and calm seas. One of the most sparkling of places has to be the sea around Sicily and the Aeolian Islands, so among my favourite articles in this issue is Adam Butler’s piece about nobleman-turned-fisherman Mario Alberti, who lives on the island of Panarea (see page 48). We take a look at his beautiful house and learn more about this extraordinary septuagenarian whose story-telling is as legendary as the long dinner parties he’s been hosting every night for 40 years. Ahem… still waiting for that invite Mario."
