Prodi's centre-left Union coalition consists of nine parties: Democratic Left (DS): ex-Communist party led by Piero Fassino; largest party in coalition Daisy: centre-left party led by Francesco Rutelli; second largest party in coalition Communist Refoundation Party (PRC): hard-left party led by Franco Giordano; third largest party in coalition Federation of the Greens: small green party led by Alfonso Pecoraro Scanio Italian Communists' Party (PDCI): small hard-left party led by Oliviero Diliberto Italy of Values: small, centrist party led by Antonio Di Pietro Rose in the Fist: alliance of two small libertarian and anticlerical parties - the Italian Democratic Socialists (SDI) led by Enrico Boselli and the Radical party led by Daniele Capezzone UDEUR: small centrist, Catholic party led by Clemente Mastella *
