The suffix – accio denotes something bad, eg:
Una parola – a word
Una parolaccia – a swear word
La carta – paper
La cartaccia – waste paper
Other form of this suffix are:
Feminine: - accia
Masculine plural: - acci
Feminine plural: - acce
However, it cannot be added to all nouns and it is better to add it to your “passive vocabulary”
– ie., you will understand it when you hear it – than to try to make up your own words!
