[FONT=Arial][SIZE=2]With a house to rennovate in Le Marche we are very interested in the opportunity to use solar energy for hot water and, if possible, some heating. If anyone could suggest a company or individual who would give sound advice on this subject we would be very grateful. Ideally we would like to be able to speak to an independent consultant in this area - someone whose opinions would not be influenced by the desire to make a sale/earn a commission. Whilst my Italian is just about up to such a conversation, I have no idea is such a company/person exists? [/SIZE][/FONT]

You can forget the heating - you won't be able to heat a house with solar power except to pre heat water in an accumulator at the most. Summer time is another issue plenty of hot water. :smile:
