hmm I just created a post about fidoka, can see it in my posts but no sign of it when I look at the community piazza page. Its also telling me I dont have javascript enabled. I do. I can see 7 people have read the post (prob 3 being me going back to check am not losing my mind and did post it)

is anyone else using fidoka in marche having problems recently? we upgraded to 4meg service and ever since have had problems, the download speed sometimes reaches 4 but is very inconsistent - 'up and down like a brides nightie' as my other half says. When we log in to our VPN the download speed reduces to about 1/8 of what we get without it. It used to be the same streaming speed with and without the VPN before the upgrade.

Ok now normal service seems to be back to normal ie ryanair flying into Palermo airport, we need to find a parking space close to the airport.

We are looking for a space at a private house or villa or a safe compound or garage on a long term rental basis.

Somewhere that we can easily park our car that stays in Sicily and get to the airport and pick it up when we go back to Sicily.

Perhaps someone has space we could rent?

Any good ideas would be appreciated

Easyjet have just announced new routes to Naples from Bristol and Edinburgh from April 2012. Add to that Jet2's new route from Glasgow to Rome and I'm a very happy girl.
My little house in Cairano is now becoming more accessible, as I had always hoped and I'm looking forward to spending more time in Italy than ever!!!

A little warning about strange behaviour by the Avis office in Bologna airport.

We normally rent using Avis mensile and phone the originating office above to extend if we stay longer. This year that office insisted that in order to renew we must visit personally their nearest office which they identified as Peschiera del Garda, a good 1.1/2 hours from our home in the prealpi.

Fortunately I phoned the real closest office in Riva del Garda where I was assured that they could renew by phone.
