What city are you think about moving to? If you want I can send you some links to sites with classifieds so you can get some idea of the positions that open up.

No problem. I have lead groups of tourists from cruise ships around Tuscany and from what they have told me it seems like they really don't get a taste of the "true Italy". Even during the short time I have with them I can only show them the "touristy" aspects. Buon viaggio!

Hello. In Italy it is not necessary to go on an escorted tour. Usually these tours move from city to city at a fast pace and leave you with little free time to really experience and enjoy the cities. Although Italy is a small country, each region has its own distinct character, history, culture and cuisine. In my opinion you can easily arrange your own travel arrangements from city to city, the Italian railway can take you to the most important cities easily. If you want an personalized tour "off-the beaten path" I would suggest you hire a local tour guide who can not only show you the main attractions, but also give you an insider's point of view. Be sure to hire an officially-licensed guide. Hope this helps.

Hello. I am a dual citizen and I have been living here for over 15 years. I would not worry too much about not having a degree. If you speak Italian and are bilingual you will definitely have good possibilities especially in the tourism/hospitality sector, especially if you have lots of experience. Tourism is the leading industry here and native English speakers are always in demand. Once you are here you can start by looking at local english newspapers or Italian websites for job postings.
