Hi, no I use eutelia purely for calls to the uk, 1 cent per minute, anytime to landlines, the charges to mobiles are not to high either. Great for calling the bank and being on hold for ages! My broadband is an aerial on the villa (like a sky dish) and connected to a modem and wifi into the villa, 19.95 Euro per month, not for gamers but does me ok.
I use Eutelia for my home phone. Eutelia give you a local number free, the phone is connected to my computer via the modem box and I just top up my account when the credit is low. You can top up on the eutelia voip site and also purchase a fone if you want to, alternatively you can use your computer, much the same as skype, only cheaper to the uk.
I can highly recommend Eurovanman, no messing, he found me in the mountains of the sele valley in a little village in Campania. We have used him twice, the second time he forgot to pick up something, I phoned him and he came straight back for the item, he had been gone 20 mins. Good luck with the move to the UK
