A Chocolate Feast: Eurochocolate

| Wed, 10/23/2013 - 09:30

Italy has a long tradition of chocolate making, with famous and historic chocolatiers located in cities such as Turin, Perugia and Modica.

One of Italy’s most famous chocolate festivals and one of the largest in Europe is Perugia’s Eurochocolate. The festival celebrates its 20th anniversary this year with a theme centered around sustainability, “Evergreen. The bearable sweetness of being”. The event includes chocolate tastings, chocolate art displays, street performances, chocolate sculpting, stalls and activities in the squares and areas of Piazza Italia, Piazza della Repubblica, Corso Vannucci, Via Mazzini, Via Fani, The Terrace of the Covered Market, and Piazza IV Novembre.

If you can’t attend this year, we hope you enjoy our slideshow (click above) of chocolate creations by some of the finest Italian chocolatiers who are present at the festival in the category of “boutiques of chocolate”.

Eurochocolate ends October 27. For more information you can visit: http://www.eurochocolate.com/perugia2013/
