A quick look at the registration (which needs your CF) I'm guessing they will then contact you with a username/id....

Sorry Jane it was "way back then", but I do recall that after registering on the site I had to link my "Customer Number" (again top right on bill, but with no spaces) . I'll see if I can have a look by registering under a different user to se how they do it these days...

This site seems to explain the different parts. Check your bill (if you have one) it should tell you which part you are with, if "Servizio di maggior tutela"  then we are the same and I can help if needed...

Jane, looks like I can be of little help to you as the link you give is for the "other side" (well I think it is). From what I gather they spilt off ENEL into 2 parts ome time back and you and I are perhaps with what is in effect different companies. I translate all of their pages and find little difficulty (no more than crap UK companies) finding my way around them. Sorry I can't recall if my older bills were there when I joined and in any case your lot may do it different. I would suggest you expole their site and see where it takes you... It would be great if you post back your findings for others that follow. HOWEVER make sure you have the right site, our service is "Servizio di maggior tutela" . You may need to look at any bill you have to make sure you are accessing the correct site (name of the part we are with "Servizio di maggior tutela" is in top right side of bill). If you look at this LINK it is where they split off into separate parts. The other part is "mercato libero". Confusing I know...frown

Mmmm... I've used the site for 3-4 years.... You need to register here of this page , then link your a/c. Any problems, perhaps you can post the link to the page you are looking at.

I don't believe your Codice is relevant to their site, you need to register with the site, then link your customer number to the registration. Afraid I can't help you with the best none resident bank a/c, perhaps others here can. However once you are registered on their site you can access your bills. You may be then able to pay them via something like Transferwise and/or the likes of pre-paid Euro cards e.g FairFX or Caxton.

Cristina Mattei (avvocato_mattei AT hotmail.com) works out of Pescara, American born I believe. She works here and in New York, so speaks both English and Italian. We used her, despite being told we did not need a solicitor and she was very good and a lovely young woman. Many others have since used her when buying and for other work.

I'm surprised as I would have thought they wanted some sort of guaranteed time to rent out a place. Perhaps it's worth posting the areas you would like to be and when on a few forums like this and seeing if some ex-pats owners want a break from their house here and make a bit money on the side.... .

Sadly we do not have any olives or should that be gladly!  We helped 4 different lots of friends with their olives. The last lot (still a day or so to do) always “prune” at the same time as they don’t have the compressor and clackers, so do it by hand. The guys next to us with 600 massive trees was taking on average 90kg per tress (so he told us) and they have the works compressor with pole saw attachments, don’t know if they prune and harvest at the same time every year as it’s the first time I’ve seen them there. Can’t believe the scale of their operation, nets down, cut, someone holds cutting while other clack them and others are clacking the trees. They had two massive trailers for 2 tractors which must be equivalent at least 4 of the frantoio meter boxes. All are well pleased with this year’s crop, one with only 24 trees 5-6 years old had over 900kg, their best crop yet! I’m really pleased for everyone as last year no one here harvested and for a lot of them it’s a big portion of their livelihood. I totally agree the new oil is superb this year here too, although a few we have spoken to, including Italians, say the do not like the fresh oil. To me it's at its best in the first 2-3 weeks, first days being amazing!!!
