Hiya,I'm Italian but living in the UK---we're in real estate in Italy. Before buying on the spur of the moment something that you like first ask yourself the use you intend to make of the property. Is it for family, is it for business as this will determine the area where you buy..personally I suggest around Rome where, should you need or want to, you can either rent it as a B and B or get yourself a job teaching English. its very easy to obtain a Celta (certificate in language teaching to adults) Mother tongue teachers are always in demand! There are some lovely areas, just north of Rome e,g, Lake Bracciano, or along the coast, or in the countryside, well connected with trains to the centre of Rome - should you tire of the country and just pop over for the day...all the best Gabriella

Hi thereI'd like to propose my flat at Passoscuro, 100 mtrs from  the beach, just 4 train stops from St Peter's in Rome. I live in the UK now and I'm looking to rent for a limited time (regular contract and all that) The rent is Euro 600 per month plus utilities, which considering the winter months would come to about 150 euros per month. Passoscuro is a family village more than town, with everything within walking distance but above all a marvellous equipped beach with stacks of restaurants and ....for a bit more exitement you have Rome so easily available. If interested let me know...All the best gabriellaPS Forgot to add that my sister and brother in law,  from Australia - Sunshine coast -  spend the summer nearby and you could count on them to get acquainted

Hello NY, why not take into consideration the area just north of Rome, on Lake Bracciano. For example Anguillara is 30 mins by direct train to S Peters, and yo're right in the centre of Rome. Anguillara is set  on Lake Bracciano and  is 20 km from the sea. 2 international airports are easily reached by Rome's circular road, in less than an hour, (Leonardo da Vinci  and Ciampino for cheap flights). You are right in the middle of tourist hubs,  with year round tourism. Anguillara city council, and many other touristy towns in Lazio,  allow 3 rooms to be let as b and b without much fuss and with  no vat number. This is just an example of what you an find around Anguillara: independent property comprising single house with 3 apartments and 3 hectares of arable land, further extension  permission already granted. All going or 530,000,00 euros.  If you'd like to know more about this property or similar ones please contact me at stmichaelestate@hotmail.com
