I have had a house in Umbria for 8 years. The IMU finally caught up with me (now paid up to date) but I have received an annual refuse bill since the start. This has now changed to a two part payment and, of course, has doubled.
My English smart phone is supposed to give me email access. Despite assurances from Virgin that it will work, it doesn't. I bought an iPad as a back up as I come to Italy quite often. To access free wifi you have to (generally) register.
I'm a qualified teacher of Business in England and have taught many overseas students. Is my experience likely to get me some work in businesses where the workforce needs to use English regularly?
I'm in a muddle! I had no idea about ICI and have been sent invoices to pay at the Post Office for years 2007 - 2010. No problem now I know what it is. My problem is 2011.
Ciao TuttiHave just returned from a lovely yet cold visit to Umbria. Always lifts the spirits.Question - every year I toddle off to La Poste and pay what appears to be the rubbish tax.
