Hi All, Happy New Year. My wife and I are planning to make a permanent move from London to Bagni di Lucca in May this year. Would be great to mail/meet up with anyone in our adopted corner of Italy. Thanks Steve & Denise

There are a few people from that area on here - so I'm sure you will find someone to 'talk' to. Good luck with your move - hope it is all you expect. Are you working there or retiring?  Why did you choose the area? I love it - so am very envious that you are moving. Joy

Hi Steve and Denise and welcome to lovely Bagni di Lucca. Great choice. We have a holiday house there which was a working watermill for quite a few centuries. It is in downtown Bagni and we are practically on the river (my hubby fishes for trout from the "cantina" windows and last September he caught a fish (after many efforts, I should say as the trouts are very clever....)We do not live there permanently, but we go there to spend time whenever we can. If you have any questions, just ask. I will be happy to help.

Hi Steve & Denise. We live just outside Bagni and have been here for 2 years now. You will love it, although the weather is pretty grim in the Winter (currently Snow on our mountain); Spring and Summer are beautiful. If you have any questions on the area or fancy a coffee when your over please PM me and I will be happy to help you. Ciao G

Hi Steve   Apologies for delay in replying.  Good luck with your B&B - hope it goes well for you.  We don't have a property there, we just visit for holidays.  My great grandfather was from Zeri area so we are bound to love the area!!  If at all possible, we would like to retire there but it all depends on how things pan out here. Take care  Joy
