Hi just received a bill titled 'Imposta comunale sugli immobili anno 2007' and on the payment slip 'tributi locali violazioni' with a x in the iscop box. It seems to be a new tax calculated the same way as the ici.
Does anyone know anything about this tax and why it is in violazioni?
Having seen reference to that other Forum here I ahd a quick look. Registration is still coming up as 'disabled by the administrator'.

Has anyone filed a claim for property or vehicle damage with their UK based insurance company? If so did they send anyone to inspect your property or vehicle with English language skills?
I am curious as to how much benefit their is dealing with a UK based insurance company if you can't get someone to come and inspect the damage.
Has anyone else noticed a problem with items being posted from the UK to Southern Italy? My friend lives in Molise and usually when I post something it takes about 7 days at the most (this has been the case for the last 5 years or more). Now however, everything I send is taking about 3 weeks, regardless of whether it's a letter or a package?!?!?

There are new regulations as from 31/05/2010 as to amounts paid out over 5K. Will post the document in English as soon as I can get this site to accept it without being a URL.
I am wondering where the best deals are for chaning Euros to pounds and vice versa? I'm told that specialist brokers are better than high street banks but have been quoted rates by a specialist that are 4 points off the interbank rate and expected nuch better. Any advice appreciated.
