Ristorante San Savino by Tascapa'

I can personally recommend this eatery; the owner - Marco - makes a big effort to make everyone welcome, and serves a variety of locally produced dishes, most of the veg. coming from his family's land. We've had some truely excellent lamb (sourced in Abruzzo) and recently his wild boar dish was melt in the mouth. Pasta with truffles also to die for.His Mum is in the kitchen, and even makes her own variety of cheeses etc. All pasta is made by hand on the premises, and although Marco is a wine buff, he also serves a decent 'draught' wine to taste. The location is actually San Savino di Ripatransone, but slightly confusing as it's about 15 kms from Ripatrasone, on the next hillside.Special on some Wednesday evenings as it's also the venue for the 'third half' after our Touch Rugby activities, so can be a bit lively, but great atmosphere! Other eventas include Jazz nights and the like. Yet to convince Marco that Kareoke would be a winner, but....Website: www.trattoriatascapa.itPhone number: 073599133 or 3286513882
