Raffel tickets coming up soon!, so thats the next thing to get going, have already sold some, for some strange reason our friends are interested in Andrews rugby shirt, and for Andrew our friends mother was born in Matlock, and lived there for 20 years, this connection in Marche is becoming very weird, and for the rest of the community probably very boring.A

Besides Andrew and co and other friends, have we more takers for the BBQ on Sunday the 21st of June?. Please do come and support us, please pm me for more details.A

But I like it at our doctors surgery, when each new person comes in and wants to know the order in which we go in to see the doctor, so its a good way to learn counting, and then the next person comes in and we start all over again.it would be much easier to just say "you are last"!A

Cultivate your post master or in our case post mistress, she/they are so interested in what you are posting that you can have a nice chat about friends you have in France, and come to the front of a very small line of people. but in a supermarket (where I was not know) I did tell the old lady who was pushing in front that actually I was before her. Why not?, I think there is a myth about what is OK here and dont rock the boat, and of course we dont and love our part of Italy, but , acccepting all of that we live here have great neighbours and friends, its OK to be sometimes assertive?A

Hey it is now working very well for me (with alittle help from my friends). I think it did need some getting used to but actually I do now like the new format, and am very pleased to meet new people, am in no way a techy person , I leave that to my "support" group, but thats good, I guess thats what this new community is about, helping each other?Aj

I think a local Italian bank is a good idea, ours has been very helpful to us ,especially in the early days when we needed to set up standing orders, and it is still possible to get the personal service that has been lost in the UK when you actually knew your bank manager and the staff. Our bank is run totally by very glamorous and effecient Italian women, and is very popular.!A

Blimey Andrew, they did teach you well at the old EBGS!, please dont let me sing the old school song after a few drinks. Moxie and Sarah have gone to Abruzzo to pick up the puppy today so a bit lonely in the community without them, or a bit quiet!!!A
