We have the opportunity to connect to a communal gas bombola serving about 5-6 houses.  The contract with goldengas prices the gas at 2.73E + IVA per cubic metre. I have only been able to find prices quoted on here for per/litre.  Does anyone here

Welcome to the Italia! website for everyone who loves Italy. As we approach our 5th birthday we hear news that our nearest competitor Italy magazine will no longer be published in a printed format.

Have been to this Pizzeria Restaurant several times over the past three years. It has grown - built on the back of good food, fair prices, friendly service. Worth travelling to eat here.

Abbi pazienza tutti - my contact in RYR says final schedules won't be all uploaded till end June/July. That the schedules for Perugia, Rimini and Pescara are all there now doesn't necessarily mean anything drastic will happen to the Ancona route.

there is no doubt the sim's were new ones,  I saw the chap press them out of the card they arrive in. however, that is not to say all is legit, what is the price of a new Tim Sim?   Have since been back to the shop with a strongly worded complaint threatening further action if the problem not resolved,  and he has evidenced that the details registered in my name are correct now.

Thanks bunterboy .... that makes sense..... as the gas is for cooking and possibly in the future heating water the difference between 74c p/litre and say 69c won;t amount to much in our case. Given the sums are based on the temp being 15 degrees C,  do I get more "bangs for my bucks" so to speak if the weather is warmer or colder when they deliver I wonder?

I'm quoting direct from the Goldengas contract which says: "Prezzo:   Il prezzo dei gas GPL e di Euro/mc 2.73 [figure handwritten] +IVA da pagarsi nelle seguenti modalita."   I am assuming that I am right in thinking "mc"  means metri cubic?   If the rate of 1mc = 1000 litres it does seem way too cheap!  What to do?

not used because when I got a quote they were much much more expensive than autoeurope.com  or holiday autos.

Auto Europe or Auto Europa - two different companies, though whether related or not [their logos are the same] is not clear from my enquiries. We have used auto-europe several times after switching from holiday autos when we found their prices cheaper.   www.auto-europe.co.uk  are a Portland USA based organisation that operates as a booking agent for the car hire companies [in the same way as holiday autos].   Our hire cars booked via them have been with Maggiore, Eurocar, Sicily by Car, Targarent from Rome, Venice and Ancona.    www.autoeuropa.it  is the holding company and website for Sicily by Car and is headquartered in Palermo. Sicily by Car/Auto Europa and Targarent are the only two companies we have picked up cars from who have been very "thorough" re their post hire "scratch inspection" , and we have learnt it pays to ensure that everything is noted down when you collect the vehicle and you have a copy of it.     As already said by someone earlier independent insurance for your car hire excess is probably a good idea and is certainly cheaper in the medium term.

I think that the Italsure policy excludes subsidence, which is all very well, but my concern would be earth tremor one week resulting in earth settlement a week later .... covered or not?
