Questions Asked

I know this problem has been mentioned in an earlier post, but it has just reared its ugly head again. When we changed the registration of the Citroen from UK to Italian, despite there being a tow bar fitted, it was not noted on the registration.

Anyone know how to ask for the skin to be left on a pork roast, so that you can get the crackling?? Just had a beautiful loin roast from the butcher, but they cut all the skin off before it is on display, so no nice crunchy bits when roasted.

For those of you, who walk dogs around the San Ruffino tracks. There is an Italian Woman who sometimes has been seen there with an Alsatian, quite often not on a lead.

Stalk & clean 1lb of sloes, prick all over with a darning needle and put in a bottling jar. Add 3-4oz of granulated sugar + a few drops of almond essence or a little Noyeau liqueur.

Anyone have a Canon printer that uses the BCI 24C colour cartridges? I have 5 unused compatible cartridges, as now have a Epson printer. Free to a good home, as against throwing them in the bin!!

Is there a function so that we can insert a PDF or Word document into a post? I have some information for the Energy certificate topic, but cannot see any way to insert it without copying and pasting( PDF of about 7 pages).

The last few weeks, have been walking the dog past the above park area in the evenings. The picnic/viewing area is virtually overgrown, with only the first few metres of grass having been cut, empty plastic bottles strewn around the bins etc.

Thanks Moxie.Only last night, we were discussing what would happen to the pups. We would have taken one, if it wasn't for the fact that our dog is over 2 years old and may have not liked a new addition to the family. In better circumstances, we could have tried and at least seen the reaction on a meeting. We do hope that the other one gets a new home very soon. Our thanks once again to you for at least giving one of them a home and lets hope that his sister gets the same response as quickly. Thanks also to Tuesdaysue for the information about the plight of the dogs.

Hi A&R. Thanks for the welcome. I had a quick look into the pub late last night, but will surely make more visits after finishing building the great wall of China outside the house.M, K & Nana x

Very sorry to hear about Richard. When I read the posting earlier today, I was totally shocked, as we had only spoken to him on the telephone about 3 weeks ago and having also met him last year, found him very interesting. He will be missed, especially with his enthusiasm over many cultural subjects and his love of his dogs, which is one of the main subjects he used to discuss. Our deepest sympathy and condolences to his family members in the UK.
