Rickardo (and others), I have NO IDEA who moderates this forum, but one way to get me (and I guess a few others) off this Forum, which I for one have found MOST useful over the years, is to use foul and abusive language. There are other words that you could use other than basic swear words. As a polite request, I would suggest that you apologise to all the other users who find the Forum of value to them, the moderators can do what they feel appropriate. S
I hear that is the equivalent of about a hundred weight (!! ??). The volume can change because it depends an the type of wood as some is heavier than others. We are some of the hardy souls who survived the snows of last winter, we tend to use ABOUT 40 quintale a winter (Nov - Mar), this year (this week) we will have 30 quintale delivered. Depends on how long you are here, how cold it is and how hot you like it ! S
I recall nigh on 5 years ago when we bought here, our geometra saying.............'I wouldn't do any major works for a year, live in it and then see what you want to do with it'. I (I guess wrongly) assumed this was due to the potential of prelazione problems. As it happens all went well, Could it be local interpretation of the 'law'? S
Sounds like you had a great trip, bravi ! Where in Alsace did you stay, my sister has talked about visiting us via the camping route and sadly I was not able to help at all ! I know when we just drive down and stay at overnight hotel(s) we end up completely zonked for days, Good luck with the recovery programme ! piano piano.............. S
We went for a Sedici, PERFECT for the hills and white roads round where we are..............we have had a irritable 'Engine Management' light appear recently, the Fiat garage in the UK said it was a 'glitch' ! oo-err ! S
Ugo, Interesting............I actually thought the prelazione was generally only applied to property/land immediately adjoining a working farmer's land? Also (maybe a myth !), when you buy a property, do not spend lots of money within the first 3 (or is it 12 )months as the prelazione could be invoked, so..... the neighbour could buy at the price you paid even though you may have spent money on it(knocking it down for instance) S
