Gavin welcome ,I have a house aprox 50 miles south of Naples and visit Naples frequantly I love the city and have never had any problems.When you move you must go to watch Napoli FC play even if you are not interested in football, terrific experiance
I am only familiar with the east coast as a tourist as I have only spent a few days there but I found the people warm and friendly as they are are all over Italy. As for Paestum yes you are right this area was a Greek colony known as Magna Grecia and there some amazing ruins of Greek?Roman temples which attract tourists from all over the World there is also a magnificent Museum which houses many escavated artifacts
Hello Leslie and welcome, I live in the UK at the moment hoping to move to my house in Paestum which is aprox 30kms south of Salerno early next year and would certainly reccomend the area and its people who I have found to be extremely friendly and helpfull. The climate is wonderfull and the cost of living quite reasonable.There are plenty of propertys for sale to suit all budgets particurlaly in the coastal areas around Salerno.Salerno itself however can be quite pricey but a beautifull City.
Hello Linda I have a house in Paestum and would suggest if you have the time to go to the wonderfull Greek ruins and Museum where you will also find a florist who will make anything uo to order
I know that QPR played a friendly v Sorrento last summer in sorrento so they may have some connection with QPR?
