Urgently looking for a good vet in abruzzo.  Be able to speak English would be a bonus. We are near Avezzano ( which is in between Rome and Pescara.  Any help and recommendations would be good.

Driveway.. Looking for a company that would work in Celano, Abruzzo that does finshed concrete or stamped concrete.   This appears to be a good way to finish your drive without the expense of tiling.

I used bookings.com and found loads of dog friendly hotels.  Some don't allow dogs in restaurants but most dogs if they have there bed will stay in room quite happily. I looked at smaller hotels as they usually we very dog friendly. Also a lot of shopping centres and shops allow dogs in them in Europe and u usually find drinking points everywhere for them. We went by euro tunnel as only half an hour and you stay in you car. Really easy and quick !

Drove from Scotland to Italy with my 15year old dog... On way went through France , Switzerland and then Italy. All very dog friendly.  No problems at all....  On way home came through France. Once in Europe I used bookings.com and found dog friendly hotels to stop overnight. Never booked anything before I left..  The euro tunnel was easy and simple on way you just drive on and on way back you check your pet checked in first..  Once thing is you need a vaccine given to you dog before returning to UK and the passport stamped.  This is just a pill the vet gives your dog..  I took some Palma ham to vets we wrapped pill in it and down it went !  After vaccine you have 5 days to leave Europe so plenty of time to drive back.   I am hoping to take her back to Italy in April as she enjoyed it so much. The heat also helped her joints !   Enjoy your trip !

http://www.mondoconv.itWe got out Kitchen here and some furniture.  They deliver within 110 kilometres I think. They also built the furniture when they deliver which is a bonus. Quality is good and service we had no problems with - even when they accidentally broke the glass cooker hood.. They cleaned it all up and arrange to come back with a new one and fit it ( they even changed the worktop because he had noticed a small chip caused he thinks by the glass ). We could also choose a day that suited us. Some of the furniture can be delivered within 48 hours.  Price wise - we found it to be very reasonable
