We have been quoted 15 euros a square meter to lay tiles, is this a fair price? Had a couple of quotes but both were the same price, we are in a small town and not sure if I should get another quote from a larger company in large town near by.

We have a house in abbruzo . We paid imo at the post offce in our town in Italy. We were told we had to make a payment each ? Is this right? The house is in both myself and my husbands name? Do you pay IMO every year and will it be the same amount? Thanks. Ali

If your estate agent speaks English ask them , they may know of local people who speak some English. I did a crash course in Italian and that along with the use of translating program's I manage to get most things done. I found everyone very patience with me as they appreciated that I was trying to learn the language. Good luck !
