Armadio d'aira caldo

Right either knowledge or creative brains needed!Just planning ahead to our first full winters in the mountains, and from experience of a few winter weeks already we know we are going to miss having an airing cupboard.    (Mind you given we were sitting in the UK with windows wide open and warm sunshine yesterday and haven't had the heating on more than an hour or so this year global warming might solve my dilema).  True on bright winter days the sun just about dries the worst of the water off washing, but it seems to take a frustratingly long time with washing draped over radiators to get everything "cupboard dry".  Makes the place look untidy and am sure visitors won't want to sit admiring our smalls drying!   A tumble dryer is an option,  we have one brought from the UK but apart from being expensive to run, we will have to turn everything else off having only the normal 3kw supply - doable if urgent.Thinking of creating a small airing cupboard, and want to avoid the expense of plumbing in another radiator. Our log burner is built in to the fireplace so not an option.  Have seen the plug in airing racks and weird tent like things with hairdryers in the bottom in those "magazines" that pop through the door but neither appeal - unless someone tells me they are fantastic.Considering a small cupboard with a tubular frost heater in it - can get them in different wattages.  Anyone any experience of solving the problem or any other ideas?
